Dependable.

Have you ever broken a bone in your arm or leg and had to adapt to life in a plaster cast? Not always easy hey?! Did you find that you needed someone or something (crutches) to help you walk and go around school?

Read Proverbs 25:19 (https://bit.ly/2AIfIw3).

When we have times of difficulty, we need to have reliable people around us that we can depend on. As you think about this, who are your faithful/reliable friends? Are you a faithful friend -can you be depended on in the different life seasons?

And more importantly, Jesus is the most dependable of us all!

Exchange worry for trust.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6-7 (https://bit.ly/2CBQ1N8)

Worry says, ‘I’m in control.’ And that’s what causes most of our anxiety and our frustration because we give ourselves power that’s not ours to bare. In fact, it becomes a burden because the control of our lives should be given to God. Learn to put this into practice, whenever you get scared or anxious, PRAY. Give it over to God. Point it out to Him. Allow him to lead you to the peace found in Him.

Doubt

Doubts. Nobody wants to admit it – but we all have them.

Yet throughout the Bible, people like Mary, Zechariah and Ananias all had doubts and God still used each one of them for His purposes.

Similarly, it’s OK for us to have doubts too. What matters is how we respond to them. These people didn’t let their doubts control them, but prayed to God about them and He revealed the truth to them. They trusted God in prayer and action in spite of their doubts.

Take your doubts to God in prayer. Trust Him and see what He does through you too.
