A live action version of The Jungle Book came out and dazzled us all. The story of Mowgli, an orphan boy raised by wolves. As Mowgli tries to fit into different animal groups, it’s obvious that he is a human and will always lean towards human things.

This reminds me of one of my favourite verses in Romans 12 (, ‘we must not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds’. We are born again into a new family, a new way of living and should never quite fit in to the old way of life.

Do you have that friend who refuses to believe in God for lack of evidence?

American journalist, Lee Strobel, made it his mission to disprove the existence of God after seeing his wife take “a blind leap of faith into religion” and became a Christian. It led him to discover that the accounts of Jesus’ death and resurrection are historically reliable. It led him to becoming a Christian himself.

The Case for Christ, based on the New York Times best-selling book, is a movie which shows that the Christian faith is real. When you watch it, why not invite some of your friends who are curious about the Christian faith?

With Easter just behind us, it was seen by many as only eating yummy chocolate eggs and fresh hot cross buns. But is this really the heart of it?

Risen is a different take on the death and resurrection of Jesus. As he goes in search of the disciples to find out the truth, he discovers that which changes his life forever: the resurrected Christ.

There are days where it can feel like the end of the world. And on those days, you should.break out into song!

That’s right we all need elevator moments. Moments to pause amidst all the crazy stuff going on in our day (like fighting Shredder) and shift our focus by singing a song of praise (you can make it a rap if you want!).

Paul and Silas do it whilst in prison and look what happens.
Read Acts 16:25-26 here:

Praise is like your ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ card. Whatever is getting you down will loosen its grip when you sing praise to God.
