What you doing?
Not much. You?

Same. Church was cool.

That guy was funny. LOL. So, what you going to do now?
Listen to music.

No, about what was said? You knowat church.
What you mean? It’s just church.

No. It’s life.

“But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash” – Matthew 7:26-27 (

The Road through Calvary strengthens faith.

The Road through Calvary strengthens faith.

As Jesus was in the tomb it all seemed lost. People didn’t realize that the story wasn’t over.
Sometimes we won’t see, comprehend or understand what God is doing. We can be so overwhelmed by the situation we’re in and forget that God is still in control and that He hasn’t stepped away, even though it may seem like it.

Read Isaiah 26:3 (

Be encouraged that even in the silence and the stillness God is still at work.
As we continue to trust Him, He strengthens our faith and gives us peace.

Don’t just wear your cross

When Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me,” (Matthew 16:24 –, he didn’t mean pick up your cross and wear it as jewellery or place it up on a church wall to gaze at.

No. The cross is not a symbol but an icon.
Like the ones on your phone. You tap on them and enter.

Jesus’ invitation is to click on the cross and enter.
Enter into loving others as He did.
Enter into forgiving others as He did.

So, stop wearing and start carrying your cross.

How about doing something different with your faith today?
Here are some ideas and challenges for you:

1) How about telling someone why you believe in God?
2) How about praying out loud to God today?
3) When last have you read a chunk of scripture? Even just 10 verses?
4) How about playing three worship songs on Spotify and just singing to God?
5) Here is a tough one: today, for an hour, put your phone aside. Use that free time to focus on God. Just sit with Him

One last thing.
How about saying these words out loud: Jesus, I love you!
