Whose faith do you admire?
Is there someone that inspires you and you look up to?
Perhaps you have a youth leader that you would like to be like one day as I did.

Listen in to Paul’s prayer- Ephesians 1:15-21 (

Isn’t that a prayer that you would want prayed for you?
Paul is so full of thanksgiving!
He highlights many great things that God has done for us in Jesus and emphasises that God’s power is accessible to us who have faith! The mighty strength that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power available to us!

You belong to Him

Read Ephesians 1: 11-14 (

One fact highlighted in the first half of this chapter is God choosing us. At the end Paul writes of those ‘who are God’s possession’. You are chosen as His possession, son or daughter; so, you belong to Him, bought by Him.

Paul says that because we believe, we have the Holy Spirit who secures our future with God.
Since you are chosen and have the Holy spirit inside you, how can you live in worship of Him?
How does knowing you belong to God impact your faith?

Grace is everything

I love the concept and meaning of the word GRACE = God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense.

Study Ephesians 1:3-10 (

Paul’s words here are loaded with description and explanation of our salvation, gained through Jesus. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s glorious grace, which He freely lavished on us.”

God has ‘blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ’. His purpose is for us to be in a loving relationship with Himself and others. Because of Jesus, all who have faith in Him have everything they need.

We obey Him by going to Him to find rest.

Following Jesus means being saved by Him every day as He is our “Saviour” (Titus 2:13) and obeying Him as He is our “Lord” (John 20:28).

We obey Him by going to Him to find rest.

Read what Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 (
Jesus wants us to allow Him to clean us of our sin. For us today we are given rest from trying to fight our sin by ourselves – we get this rest when we go to Jesus.

Am I going to Jesus daily to accept His rest?
I don’t do it very often,by the power of the Holy Spirit,I know I will.
