Here’s some good news for anyone who’s heard the word ‘NO’ spoken to them a few too many times

‘Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the ‘Yes’ of Jesus God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us’ 2 Corinthians 1v20-22 (The Message)

We hear so many negative words spoken to us: you’re not good enough, you’re too fat, or thin, or not clever enough. Sometimes those are words we say to ourselves. God’s first and last word to you is Yes! You are dearly loved and blessed and made whole in Jesus. Do you have the courage to believe and live in that today?

‘If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.’ Colossians 3v1-4

Perspective. It can change everything. This visible world is not all there is. There is a hidden heavenly dimension that we are part of right now. Your life is mysteriously & intimately connected with Jesus who is on the throne in those heavenly places. You are a cosmic being! How could this truth change what you set your mind on today? #Godsviewofyou #andrewv

Have you ever felt accused and condemned by someone? It really sucks doesn’t it? Here’s some good news from Paul:

‘Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one- for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honour at God’s right hand pleading for us’ (Romans 8v33-34)

When it comes to God there is no condemnation for us. You are God’s child, made innocent by Jesus’ death. No matter who tries to condemn you what they say ultimately doesn’t count for much. In God’s eyes you are free from condemnation and that’s what really counts.

Do you feel like you are always messing up? Well, here’s some encouraging news from Paul:

‘For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us to be adopted as his children through Jesus Christ’ (Ephesians 1:4-5)

That’s not a wish, it’s a statement of fact. We are holy people adopted as God’s children – if we have faith in Jesus. How can that fact encourage you to begin living out who you are?
